Rural idyll just outside the town!

In spring 2024 we completed three unique country retreats in Mörtsunda, south of Norrtälje. The houses are now sold but can still be visited to experience more house models close to each other.

Mörtsunda

Mörtsunda is an idyllic village in southern Roslagen. With just under an hour's drive from Stockholm you'll find rural charm here and views over the sea inlet. A stone's throw away there is a nice beach, opportunity for a boat berth as well as beautiful walking areas and hiking trails in fantastic surroundings.

Tidlös Sommar 60 with accompanying sauna house

Sommar 60 is a well-proportioned house where form and function go hand in hand. Here there is an unexpectedly spacious social area with plenty of room for cooking. Complete bathroom, hall, two bedrooms and a loft. The house is treated with black tar paint and has a beautiful folded roof in heartwood in the same colour. An updated interior style, Ren, with smooth ivory-white walls and ceilings and light wooden floors. Linked by a terrace is an external sauna building with a pleasant relaxation area of 15 sqm.

Tidlös Sommar 80 with floor plan Sjö and accompanying Attefallshus

Sommar 80 is the complete holiday home for the large family. Here there are generous areas for cooking and socializing, three separate bedrooms and a practical entrance. The sleeping loft has room for many more overnight guests.

Adjacent to the house there is a guest house of 30 sqm in the same style. Floor plan Smal with bathroom.

Both houses are treated in Tjärvitriol and have interior style Lugn.

Welcome to the new Duo – the best of both worlds. We started from our simple, straightforward barn houses and emphasized their balanced, small-scale forms. We then shaped two building volumes at an angle and connected them with a beautiful all-glass entrance.
