Welcome into the new Duo – the best of two worlds. We have based it on our simple and straight ladhus and built on their balanced and small-scale forms. Then we shaped two house volumes at an angle and connected them with a beautiful fully glazed entrance.

Duo is two houses in one
Duo has separate house volumes for socializing and resting, for the social and the private. The two parts are separated from each other but united in the glazed entrance. Views from the social part are undisturbed while the private part is more closed.
The clear division of functions in Duo means that socializing with guests can take place in one part of the house without disturbing those who want to go to bed early. Likewise, some can get up with the rooster and bustle around in the kitchen while others sleep in as long as they want.
Duo shapes itself to your plot
Duo adapts to your plot like few other houses. The two house volumes can be angled according to the plot and where the best views are. In the basic configuration the house volumes have an exciting angle of 105 degrees. If the plot requires it the angle can be reduced to the traditional 90 degrees and if space allows the house volumes can be angled up to 135 degrees.

Duo for both small and large families
In Mörtsunda you can experience an 80-square-meter Duo. In the private section there are two bedrooms, a bathroom and a loft. The social part of the house is airy and contains a large kitchen with an island as well as a living room with a fireplace and large glass sections that open out to the patio.
Duo is also available in sizes 100, 70 and 60 square meters. There Sommar 60 Duo and Sommar 70 Duo show that architecture with its own character is possible even in a small format and with a limited budget.
Rural idyll just outside town!
During the spring of 2024 we completed three unique country retreats in Mörtsunda, south of Norrtälje. The three country retreats are ready for occupancy and are now for sale.
