Sweden's first 30 sqm Attefall house

The government wants to allow larger Attefall houses by increasing the maximum building area to 30 sqm. Now Boverket will investigate the matter and present a proposal during 2018. If the plans then stand, we can hope for a change in the law during 2019.

Sommarnöjen was asked to build Sweden's first 25 sqm Attefall house in the spring of 2014. The house was placed on Norrmalmstorg and there the former housing minister Stefan Attefall presented the new rules.

We are now closely following the development and have assigned a group of architects to develop tomorrow's 30 sqm Attefall house. We build on our experience of being first to deliver turnkey Attefall houses and will make the houses of the future even better.

Update: The new Attefall rules have now been confirmed. From 2020-03-01 it is permitted to build 30 sqm Attefall houses, read more about the new Attefall rules here.
