Sunday the 10th of August at 13:00 Anna invites you to her guesthouse in Glimminge hus på Österlen for an inspiring conversation with garden architect Peter Englander.
Welcome to a conversation with Peter Englander!
Come and listen to garden creator Peter Englander who, together with colleague Malin Ask, tells you what to consider when creating a new garden. How about the wind? Which hedge stops the wind? Which outdoor spaces do you want? Don’t forget the cardinal directions. The last sun in the west is the most important. That is when we sit down with friends and family. A place for the day’s first cup of coffee is also an absolute necessity. If it starts to rain we go into the greenhouse or the summer home’s Attefall house.
Many years ago Peter designed and built Anna’s garden around the house. White-rendered walls, a pergola and warm terrace areas in brick then saw the light of day. Now, nearly twenty years later, it was time again. Based on the jet-black Attefall house, the new garden was shaped.
The first 10 guests will receive a signed book!

More than just a garden
The conversation takes place next to Anna’s guesthouse. The guesthouse is a timeless Attefall house of 30 sqm. The house has a distinct form and views in several directions. It is treated with black tar paint and has a folded roof in heart pine.
Here you can experience the interior style, Rå, with oiled birch plywood on walls, joinery and kitchen. The insides of windows and doors are treated in iron oxide black and the small details are in the same black tone.
