When all friends come to visit

Mattias and Linn lead a hectic life in Stockholms innerstad. They are both entrepreneurs, Mattias runs a brand agency and Linn is an influencer with a popular lifestyle blog and is also behind the newly started company Organista, which is meant to make packing for trips easier. To feel balance in life it is important for the couple to be able to swap the city environment for the countryside. In the countryside they recharge.

Mattias and Linn's new archipelago retreat has everything they wish for and has become a popular excursion destination for friends. This created a need for a smaller house so that guests could stay overnight and be comfortable.

The main building is designed by Alexander Lervik and has a distinct expression. Therefore it was important that the new house fit into the environment and contributed to the whole. The wooden cladding has received the same special treatment as the large house and the custom carpentry windows follow the same style.

Besides Sommarnöjens architecture they liked that the house was delivered completely turnkey.

”We were tired of the plot always being a construction site,” says Mattias.

The house was placed adjacent to the pool and is used as a combined guest- and pool house. It is 25 sqm with a loft, bedroom, bathroom and living room. The loft has two sleeping spaces and with two sofa beds in the living room they have the possibility to host six people in the guest house.

”It's nicely designed and maintains a good level of quality. It simply feels fresh.”

Hanging by the pool has become more enjoyable after the Attefall house was put there. It is perfect for summer parties with a dip in the pool and then relaxed socializing inside the house when the sun has set. The social life can travel from Stockholms innerstad to the archipelago.
