In 2022 we inaugurated our first permanent exhibition house, furnished in our style and ready for visitors year-round. Here you can get to know our build quality and our materials up close and get inspiration for your future house.

The house is located in the scenic Roslagen outside Stockholm. It is one of our most appreciated models – Tidlös Sommar 70 Berg. The facade and wooden roof are treated with black-brown tar paint.

Each house we build is unlike the others. Size, layout and details are shaped by the customer and the site. At the same time the houses have even more that unites them – good architecture, honest materials, open floor plans and close contact with nature. You will find the house in the small village of Ortala outside Norrtälje.

We put a lot of work into creating harmonious interiors where materials, surface treatments and colors interact.

The large house in Ortala has our original interior, Lugn, with light and solid materials. White-waxed wooden floors, woodwork and kitchen that give a summery feeling. Finely sawn panels on interior walls and ceilings that create atmosphere. In the bathroom light wood meets granite ceramics in tones of limestone.

The house is furnished in our style with furnishings from our partner Norrgavel.

A beautiful country place adapts to the plot, not the other way around. The most important part in planning new houses is the one that deals with placement and orientation of the house. It is about how the private areas, the social areas and the outdoor spaces relate to privacy, view and compass directions.

On the plot in Ortala we chose the Berg layout. The relatively long and narrow building has the private section and the social section positioned in line, which provides views through the front long side and the gable end. The rear long side protects from overlooking.

Next to the larger house we have placed an Attefallshus with kitchen and bath. The house contains a living room with kitchen, a proper bathroom with toilet and shower and a bedroom with room for a double bed and storage. With access from the living room there is also a loft with space for more overnight guests.

Our accessory dwelling houses of 30 sqm with loft are available with eight smart layouts. You can have your house wide or narrow, oriented towards the front or the gable and with or without a separate bedroom.
