Home to the farm in Österlen

It took several years for Jacob to get a building permit for the beautiful site in Österlen. Finding the right house supplier was not easy either. He wanted someone who felt financially stable and who could deliver a house of good quality. What surprised him most about Sommarnöjen was the high standard of everything from floors to appliances and the hand-painted woodwork.

"When you choose the most basic from Sommarnöjen you still get something that is good. Sommarnöjen's minimum standard is high. You don't need to embellish it with additional costs to get it done well. And it was very clear what it would cost."

Jacob's choice became a Sommar 90. It has three bedrooms, a bathroom and a generous space in the front part of the house for the kitchen and living room.

"It feels very cosy and harmonious."

The house was built not far from Österlen's beautiful church village Gladsax, where Jacob lived as a child and close to the farm where the family has spent the summers for the past twenty years. The family can now continue to rest and avoid city life, although in a completely new holiday home.

The placement of the house ended up in the corner of an old pasture with grazing horses nearby, a view the large glass panels take in. The living room has views in three directions and with the fireplace lit it is definitely the family's favourite place.

The house Jacob chose is called Modern Sommar 90 and the floor plan is called Hav.
