From Hongkong to Hejnum

On weekdays the family lives and works in Hongkong but in the summers they escape to Hejnum on Gotland. There they have their sommarparadis and a fixed base in Sverige.

Six years ago Karin and Anton bought the white gotländska limestone croft. They wanted a place of their own for themselves and their two daughters to stay at when they are at home in Sverige during the summers.

On weekdays the family lives and works in Hongkong but in the summers they escape to Hejnum on Gotland. There they have their sommarparadis and a fixed base in Sverige.

Six years ago Karin and Anton bought the white gotländska limestone croft. They wanted a place of their own for themselves and their two daughters to stay at when they are at home in Sverige during the summers.

Karin and Anton realized early that the beautiful little house would not be enough to provide sleeping places for sommarens all guests. When they earlier searched for their own summer residence they found Sommarnöjens turnkey holiday home. Now the idea of combining new and old was born. The small torp has been joined by a timeless Attefallshus.

The house has facades treated with tjärvitriol and a real gotländskt faltak in heart pine, treated the same way. Under the protective pergola there is room for social moments in sommarvärmen.
