Winter is here

After creating beautiful holiday homes around Sverige for 10 years, we present our first mountain houses. At the same time, Sommarnöjen is launched in Norge, a country with a long tradition of mountain cabins. The Winter collection has stronger insulation in floors and roofs to offer comfortable living even far up in the mountains.

The unique mountain houses shaped for the active family – spacious Winter 100, complete Winter 75, smart Winter 50 and compact Winter 30 – the first Attefall house created for the mountains. Clean-lined forms, built for a tough climate and full of smart details such as a seating bench, ski storage and woodshed.

Winter has been developed in collaboration with Bornstein Lyckefors Arkitekter, who are currently involved with two nominations for Träpriset 2020 and the winner of the Rödfärgspriset 2019. The company was founded in Göteborg but now also has offices in Stockholm.

"The houses still have a simplicity, but a rougher expression where the horizontal cladding flirts with the tradition of log cabins and mountain huts," says architect Viktor Stansvik.

On Sommarnöjens new website – which is also launched today – you can see all Winter models from different angles and with the facade colour and the roof material you want.

Just like our summer houses, Winter is built indoors and lifted into place completely finished – with bathroom, kitchen and interior already in place. A completely new building method in the mountains and gentle both on the environment, the plot and the wallet.
