2023 has been a tough year for many in our industry and we are extremely proud and happy for the customers who, despite a weak economic situation, have invested in quality houses. When we sum up the year we can state that we delivered 94 houses during 2023. A little fun fact for those of you who bought houses from us is that 76 of these chose our original interior, Lugn.
We started the year by updating virtually our entire main collection, Sommar, with more well-considered floor plans and even nicer and more coherent kitchens and bathrooms. In connection with the new house models we also updated the website and our configurator to make it easier to understand how our different houses are built. Thereafter came Light Line as a result of us going through every single detail to see what savings we could make and press our prices. After that followed Attefjäll, Sweden's first Attefallshus specially developed for life in the mountains. And finally our flexible corner house, Duo, which can be adapted to any plot.

At the same time as it is necessary to develop our house collections according to the needs we meet and the reactions we receive, the most important thing is to stand on a solid foundation when it comes to quality. After 15 years of small improvements our houses are well equipped to withstand the test of time, both in architecture, materials and craftsmanship.
During 2023 more projects than before have come from customers who have already ordered a house from us and have now returned for yet another. Close collaboration between our architects, project managers, structural engineers, carpenters and assemblers has meant that our houses now regularly receive zero remarks at customers' external inspections, which is very unusual in our industry. We receive repeated praise from those responsible for control and from surveyors for our high finish and well-thought-out details.
Our work is about commitment and passion. We build our houses, interiors and kitchens by hand, one at a time. It takes longer to build that way and costs a little more initially but the result is houses that last longer, and that we ourselves want to live in.
Now we at Sommarnöjen are taking a well-deserved vacation and will keep the office closed until 2 January. Several of us are going to the countryside to slow down. It is there, on the sofa out at Gålö, Dalarö and Järvsö that new ideas for 2024 are born.
