We meet more and more families who want to stay in the countryside longer and create a second home away from the city. Autumn weekends, winter breaks and the opportunity to work a couple of days a week from the countryside whether it's April, July or November. And many who are looking for a permanent residence in a rural and natural style that fits into the landscape.
When the boundaries between holiday homes and permanent homes are blurred we are launching three entirely new houses. The shapes and materials are faithful to Sommarnöjens heritage in nature, wood and simple lines. The function is, however, new – spacious social areas, four proper bedrooms with good storage space, substantial kitchens and bathrooms make the new Sommar 150 the perfect permanent house in the countryside.

Three different floor plans
The most important part of planning your new house is about placement and the basic floor plan. It's about the angle, spread and orientation of the house, the social areas and the outdoor spaces. The new Sommar 150 is available in the floor plans Hav, Sjö and Duo. The three houses are the same size and have the same functions, but arranged to suit different plot conditions.

Sommar 150 Hav and Sommar 150 Sjö
Sommar 150 Hav and 150 Sjö are the big siblings to their appreciated little siblings. Here the social parts have gained even more space and larger kitchens. The private parts with two bathrooms and four bedrooms are placed along one long side in Hav, or against one gable side in Sjö.

Sommar 150 Duo is actually a trio
When we were developing Sommar 150 Duo we chose to add one more house section to create a sheltered inner courtyard. It became a trio that can advantageously be used when the family wants to be close but still have their own part of the house. The two house sections on the sides each contain one bathroom and two bedrooms each. The social areas with a generous kitchen and living room gather the family in the middle house section. Depending on how the plot looks, the angles between the three house sections can be adapted, as can the placement of entrances and glass areas.
