Go to the countryside for the reading break!

The autumn break comes as a much-needed rest for all the country's children. The schools have renamed the autumn break to the reading break and encourage all children to during this holiday immerse themselves in a book. It sounds wonderful for everyone, except perhaps for children with energy to burn and parents whose work continues as usual.

But what if a change of scenery were still possible? Slow down a little and maybe work a couple of days from the countryside with only the essentials. Where the forest around the doorstep encourages little legs to climb the hills and go exploring. And the connection is good enough for email and phone calls but not quite so good that video meetings can replace one another. When darkness falls there isn't much to do so that book in front of a crackling fire becomes exactly what both children and adults start to long for.

Nature is beautiful and the forest is still full of chanterelles. The dream of owning something of your own is rarely so present. For those of you who maybe already have a plot or a holiday home that is starting to become a bit too cramped we have lots of exciting houses to show. Who knows – next reading break maybe "the countryside" is synonymous with a house in nature, good and simple architecture and genuine natural materials. Welcome in and be inspired!
