Archipelago visit for warranty inspection

Two years later we return for a warranty inspection. After roughly a half-hour drive, in Stockholms skärgård, we arrive at a custom, site-built house from Sommarnöjen.

After rounds with shoreline protection officers, building permit officers, discussions with neighbors and the cultural administration, the client finally had their house in place by the water's edge. The house is two storeys, the window sections facing the water are large and the facade treated with vitrol. Since we were here last, the groundwork around the house has taken shape; among other things stairs have been built leading down from the house to the jetty, which adds further detailing to the house's design.

A warranty inspection is carried out to detect defects that may have appeared during the warranty period. The inspection is carried out by an independent inspector. It is not always necessary to carry out a warranty inspection, especially not for smaller holiday homes.

The house passed the inspection without remarks, ready for lifelong love.
