How do you create a sustainable garden that weaves the house together with the surrounding nature?
We have invited landscape architect Nina Thelberg Eklund to tell us about an exciting assignment she had with one of our customers. The starting point was a relatively overgrown and hilly plot where a Tidlös Sommar 80 had just been delivered. The goal was a private oasis that is easy to maintain, lively and rich in biodiversity. Hear Nina tell you how you can create a sustainable garden appreciated by both pollinators and people!
After Nina’s presentation there will be time to meet our project managers and architects to ask questions about our houses, rules regarding holiday homes, Attefallshus, building permits and shoreline protection and how it goes from a contract until the house is in place.

Landscape architect – Nina Thelberg Eklund
Nina Eklund Thelberg is a landscape architect and runs the company Älska Trädgård on Ingarö i Stockholm, where she primarily works with private gardens. She is, among other things, a co-founder of the association Hållbara Trädgårdsföretag, is certified in sustainable garden design and was awarded the Sustainability Prize in the Årets Trädgårdsarkitekt 2023 competition for one of her projects.
Nina has participated in everything from the inspiration stage at Nordiska Trädgårdar to Trädgårdsmorgon and WWF’s campaign “För ett vildare Sverige”. There she has shared her knowledge about climate-smart gardens, irrigation and how to design for biodiversity.
Her motto is: If there is anywhere you can change the world for the better, it is in the garden. A garden is not large, but many gardens together become an entire green world. With some thought and knowledge the garden can be the way to something better.
