The summer retreat in Skåne

Half an hour east of Malmö, a stone's throw from Ramnakullabackarnas naturreservat you will find our permanent summer retreat in Skåne. On the rural plot we have placed an Original Sommar 70 with floor plan Äng as well as an Attefall house.

Original Sommar 70 with floor plan Äng

Despite compact external dimensions you will find functional social spaces, two bedrooms, a bathroom and a hall that accommodate most families. The Äng floor plan has the private part set back behind the social part which provides views in all directions.

In a timeless design the Sommar 70 has a clear form and close contact with nature thanks to the sharp gable roof without eaves and uninterrupted sliding glass sections.

The house has interior style Rå with walls and ceiling in birch plywood treated with matte lacquer. On the floor lies a solid brushed pine floorboard treated with natural hard wax oil. The kitchen in matt-lacquered birch plywood with doors and drawer fronts in iron oxide black.

Timeless Attefall house with kitchen and bathroom

Our Attefall house with kitchen and bathroom is a complete holiday home on a small footprint. One room with kitchen, dining area and a cozy reading corner in an armchair. Here are also the stairs up to the loft which quickly become the children's favorite or where two people can overnight.

In the bedroom there is a built-in double bed with storage in drawers underneath. As well as wardrobes and a desk with open shelves. There is also a bathroom with WC, shower and washing machine. Naturally all requirements for a supplementary dwelling according to the new legislation are met.

The Attefall house is furnished with our original interior, Lugn, with light and solid materials. White-waxed wooden floors, joinery and kitchen give a summery feeling. Fine-sawn panels on interior walls and ceilings provide atmosphere. In the bathroom light wood meets granite ceramic in tones of limestone.

As in all Sommarnöjens houses the interior is consistently of natural materials, the kitchens are custom-built and the bathrooms elegant. We put a lot of work into creating harmonious interiors where materials, surface treatments and colours interact. That gives a good base that gains its own personality when the house is furnished and filled with people and memories.

We enlisted interior designer Helen Sturesson to decorate the houses in Skåne with a mix of old and new, natural materials and splashes of colour. Cozy and modern at the same time!
